Those who follow Collision Magazine closely might have noticed this issue has come out a little later than usual. There are a couple reasons, not the least of which is an effort to tie the feature article by Dan Wyatt about detecting inadequately repaired vehicles with a crash test from this year’s ARC-CSI Crash Conference using a car that was not only inadequately repaired but the flaws in the “repairs” were documented by the author (Wyatt). Being able to tie the two together should, we hope, provide at the very least food-for-thought to our readers who may have encountered vehicles involved in crashes they investigate and analyze which may have been previously crashed and then inadequately repaired.

Other articles include "Analysis of Motorcycle and Rider Limits on a Curve", "Three Dimensional Simulation of a Crash Test Series in SIMON Utilizing A, B, C and D Stiffness Coefficients" and more. This issue also includes the 2014 CDR User's Summit Data DVD.
